Vedanta to buy 51% stake in Cairn India for $8-8.5 bn: Repor

India-focused Vedanta Resources may take a 51 per cent controlling stake in Cairn India for $8 billion to $8.5 billion in a deal that is likely to be announced by Monday, Press Trust of India said.
